The ALS Laboratory Group operates 9 high resolution mass spectrometers for organic trace analysis and ALS Czech Republic is the premier provider of high resolution analysis in Middle Europe.

ALS CR provides trace and ultra trace analysis of the following compounds:

Polychlorinated dibenzo-(p)-dioxins and dibenzofurans including total congener 2,3,7,8 substituted isomers
dioxin-like PCBs
mono- to deca- chlorinated biphenyls (sums of 209 PCBs)

Site Remediation

By close cooperation with many environmental consultants, ALS CR contracts include site remediation work. We analyze samples in the phase of site prospection to help assess contamination of hot spots, to plan and design remediation work, to make remediation technologies pilot studies and to control remediation work including cleaning efficiency.

Stockholm Convention Implementation

As premier provider of high resolution PCDD/F determination in Czech Republic, ALS CR proposed its services to Government authorities in order to help to establish adequate conditions for implementing the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants in Czech Republic.
ALS CR also provides support to different Ministries or Environmental Agencies in Europe, Asia and Africa for fulfilling the criteria of the Stockholm Convention. Strengthened by this experience, we are able to help foreign State authorities, consultants and laboratories with implementing the Stockholm Convention which came into force in May 2004.
