The new £ 2.1 M extension to our pharmaceutical laboratory in Ely was officially opened on Wednesday 7^th September...

Clients, ALS staff, contractors and suppliers were invited to the grand opening where the mayor of Ely, Councillor Ian Lindsay, cut the ribbon together with ALS own Daniel Tuck who won the honour in competition with his colleagues.

Andreas Jonsson, General Manager for ALS Life Sciences in Europe, who participated in the opening comments:

It has been a major investment for us, but an investment required to enable the continued double digit growth we have seen over the last decade. I am very proud of the result and I would like to thank our staff who has worked very hard during the building process and completed it on time and without any accidents. I am confident that clients and ALS staff alike will benefit from the extension and modernisation and I am looking forward to tour the laboratory together with them later today
