ALS Czech Republic environmental laboratories offer accredited determination of total of 68 semi-volatile organic compounds in soil matrices according to US EPA 8270.
Determination method is based on modern fast efficient and reliable microwave-assisted solvent extraction followed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection.
Method does not involve any extra sample handling thus ensuring no losses of more polar compounds such as Benzidine in cleanup procedure. Also the procedure does not require concentration step with another potential loss of recoveries.
Most compounds are analyzed at limits of reporting 0.05 mg/kg of dry weight and the method can cope even with challenging fine-particle matrices such as clay. Precise determination of the full range of compounds is guaranteed by a total of 14 internal standards and surrogates.
