ALS Environmental

With representation in 15 countries in Europe, ALS is one of the largest laboratory groups on the continent. The network of modern, analytical, ISO 17025 accredited laboratories offers a wide range of services, enabling ALS to act as a true full service provider.

As much as the instruments and facilities are important in order to deliver high quality services, ALS would not be the leading company it is today without dedicated staff. To match the state of the art equipment in our laboratories, ALS hires experts within several fields related to environmental services and make sure that all staff are given training on a regular basis, both technical and client service related.

Our main objective, as a full service provider, is to present the right solution to clients. The portfolio is based on standard parameters requested in the industry; metals, TPH, PAH, PCB, anions to mention but a few. What separates ALS from other laboratories is the extensive list of capabilities of more specialised tests. On a regular basis ALS provides testing of an extensive list of POP’s including brominated flame retardants, perfluorinated compounds like PFOS, pharmaceutical compounds in the environment, stable isotopes, radioactive element and speciation of metals (arsenic, selenium, tin and mercury). With a strong focus on R&D our experts will develop specialised solutions whether it is new compounds or ultra-trace testing.

Our philosophy at ALS includes a dedication to quality, service and innovation. Our primary objective is to assist our clients in making informed decisions by consistently providing reliable and reproducible analytical data of the highest integrity by any laboratory within the ALS network.

Having participated in some of the largest environmental projects in Europe and testing more than 35 000 samples per week, we have built an experience few laboratories can claim. Not only has this given us useful experience that will benefit clients, but during the process new solutions has been developed to streamline the successful execution of challenging projects.
